  • Hi, I used to make pineapple tarts when I was a teen growing up in Singapore. Shortcrust pastry, add a bit of sugar. Add cloves to the pineapple jam and loads of sugar. Jam cooks for 3 hrs as it slowly caramalises. I had a traditional tart mould which you can't find any more these days.

  • In Malay, we called this "tart nenas". It is usually served during Eid. I don't like the pineapple flavour, so I swap it with blueberry or strawberry.
