KOMMENTARE

  • This was a really good movie from Netflix . It's hard to come by a good movie these days.

  • Big Girls need Love too....Forget the naysayers Ladies....God made you just perfect as you are! It's what's inside that is really Beautiful! I was married to a Big Woman. Reason I ain't no more was because she just wanted my money and NOT my Love?!

  • I really like that Danielle MacDonald...such sass, really cute...just seems like someone who is always being Genuine in her parts!

  • I just watched this movie and I now have a NEW feel good movie. Jennifer Aniston was fantastic. It was funny, heartfelt and lessons to be learned.

  • Yeah Netflix it’s real responsible to tell women that it’s okay to be obese.

  • This looks like the country version of Hairspray...I'm here for it.

  • "a swimsuit body is a body with a swimsuit on it"

  • i love my girls bbw

  • Sooo they made this after the backlash of insatiable?

  • Just finished watching this movie, truly loved it!!!!!! 💖💖💖

  • 1.19 was Dove Cameron?

  • I wish I didn’t watch the trailer cause it’s like I’ve already seen the whole thing!😔

  • fat aceptance bullshit

  • Loved the movie.

  • This movie had me crying. So empowering in every way. If you're one of those people who says fat people shouldn't feel beautiful because they're unhealthy... You're absolutely right that we should try to be healthier to the best of our ability. BUT the journey to fitness requires self love and discipline, and if we don't think we have worth, we aren't going to put in the work. We are beautiful. Don't hide behind your excuses to make you feel better about degrading someone. Inspire us to be better versions of ourselves; don't bully us. (Disclaimer: I say "we" to include people who have the same mentality and do not intend to lump all overweight people together.)

  • Jennifer is very good and deserves some recogniton, but I wasn't impressed with the movie.

  • This movie was so good!!!!!

  • I see too many mean and rude people commenting things and other things that are just stereotypes and just for the purpose of being mean. Wow it really feels bad to live in the world so cruel like that. Love yourself, love myself.

  • If you ever watch this movie make sure you have a box of tissues right next to you Like if you agree

  • I’ll watch for Jennifer and the drag queens

  • Wow this movie was amazing

  • Just got done watching this movie, and let me say it is worth it!! This movie was amazing and really sent out a beautiful message, cried a couple of times (‘:❤️

  • One word, nope..

  • Whats the song at the opening of the show? When they all dance on the stage? Like this texas tune

  • I’m sorry but Jennifer Aniston was not believable as a Texan belle. But the movie was cute.

  • I love Dolly. And Aniston

  • Absolutely inspirational and touching movie. Highly recommend.

  • tbh i would've liked the movie if dumplin wasn't a bitch xD don't come at me. it was ok i guess

  • I Watch this movie it was so inspiring I love it💜💞❤️💙💙

  • I loved this movie! My sister and i watched it the day it came out, it was somewhat predictable but also it had some uniqueness to it. If you need a little boost of positivity or cheer in your life/day I totally recommend you watching... I mean watch it even if you just want to chill and rewind! I really want to go watch it in theaters, sadly the only day is on my bday and i already have plans.

  • I just watched this Movie and gotta tell You owwww what an Amazing piece. I am a hard ass but I have to admire that I cried several times during this movie, it was refreshing, it was courageous and inspiring. Very relatable and the acting is just phenomenal, Jennifer brought sooo much emotion on this movie and I never have seen her like this. Truly Amazing and reminded me the Grace and the Power of Dolly Parton. This movie gave me Life and was the perfect recharge for my energy and desire. to live. Opened my eyes and gave me the courage to make my dream come true and sigh up for the Airforces. Thank You " Dumplin" Jennifer and Dolly to remind me that " do f be scared to get out in the rain, just remember to wear a coat. " if you haven't watch yet, the. You should because this trailer do not make justice and this is not a cook cutter kind of happy ending fairytale movie. It's the reality of choose to do greatness and absolve and give Love to the ones around us no matter what our shapes and forms. BRAVO #dumplin #netflix

  • I was in this movie ! awesome story

  • Already seems like a modern classic

  • "Figure out who you are, then do it on purpose." I love it!

  • Obesity is not okay. Anorexia is not okay. But you know what else is okay? BODY SHAMING. We all have something that we don't like about ourselves but imagine if it was constantly called out on, for example, stretch marks, cellulite, rolls, rib and hip bones, imagine if someone come up to you everyday of your life and said you are disgusting to look at all because you look a little different. More than half the people commenting on here would be classed as clinically obese, even if you're not 'fat'. (It all comes down to bmi and how tall you are. ) just take a little time to consider other peoples feelings, they don't need to be reminded of what they are thinking about themselves. I would honestly feel ashamed to know half you people. Forget about body image. Take a look at your personality and morals before anything else.

  • I just got done watching the movie, and it’s honestly so amazing! i cried a few times throughout the movie:)❤️

  • Aww- such a good story!

  • What a stupid movie... In other words, we are telling people that it is okay to be fat! For goodness, fat is bad for your health. Ugly isn't the new trend. Yes we should not attack fat but we should not encourage them to be fat. Sorry girls, most guys don't like fatty... Period. Or else, we won't have victoria secret's model and swimsuit models won't be all slim and toned.

    • Yes and most people don't like stuck up bitches or gays or transgender either

  • All I can see is Rachel

  • Guys I'm trying to find the country song which plays when they dance at the beggining of the pageant competition! Can anyone help me? It's not in the Dolly Parton's soundtrack 😔

  • literally watching for jennifer

  • Why can’t I find/watch it on Netflix NL?

  • I'm the bartender in the Drag Queen bar scene!

  • You can hate me but I tell the truth. This is just another load of garbage from Hollywood for the socialists to drool over. Making fat kids or adults out to be some sort of object of pity so the public can condone fat people being fat, trying to say it's fine to be fat or "it's not their fault" is a load of bullshit, dangerous and a serious health issue. In this day and age of inactivity it's even more important for people to watch what they eat, exercise and stay in shape. There is NO EXCUSE for 66% of the US population to be over weight or obese. It's pure laziness, lack of knowledge and poor parenting that causes this. There is no reason not to eat a proper diet. You do not need all that processed garbage, sugar, carbs and fat. You need exercise. Those over 25 years of age I recommend to at least 25 minutes of heavy cardio everyday. I also recommend weight training at least 3x a week along with proper dieting. I'm over 60 years old, have an actual BMI under 24, no rolls of fat, can lift and work just as much and as hard as when I was 25 but I'm surrounded with all these fatties with a phone in their faces. Get the fuck out and do exercise you fucking humps. Seriously, when I drop my daughter off at college 4x a week I cannot believe my eyes. I say about 50% of the students are young and obese, not overweight, they are obese. NO FUCKING REASON FOR THAT. When I was young you may have one or two kids in a class that were a little chunky, now the kids are a bunch of fucking elephants. What the fuck is wrong with parents? If you are fat you look like shit, probably feel like shit and probably don't even eat as much as a person who does exercise. If you raise your metabolism, you can eat 6-8 times a day, never hungry and not get fat. You have to eat the right things but you are never hungry or tired and you feel good about yourself. No fat movie necessary.

  • Dovey😍😍😍

  • Obese girl (where weight is a severe health risk) - check Encouraging said obese girl to accept her death state instead of get better - check Encouragement done by someone from the LGBT community- check Make obese girl win the pageant or not due to some valid reason but still implying that otherwise she would - check This is a liberal's dream. Wonderful! Good job.

  • woohoo movies glorifying obesity

    • Gjcfhhko Ggjgh big isn’t beautiful.

    • +Gjcfhhko Ggjgh he is right SJW. Be real and grow up. It is not healthy.

    • Sara A oh shut up 🙄

  • A movie that implies being a fatty is OK but in real life it is unhealthy which means not OK. Just SJW crap.

  • Hairspray non musical?

  • willowdean was BLOND.fucking blond!!!!jennifer Aniston is perfect for this tho

  • Just for Rachel

  • loved it. made me cry. captured body insecurity so well, had some good diversity (in the SUPPORTING cast, at least), and was a real love letter to Dolly Parton's life philosophies.

  • Very good movie! You will not be disappointed

  • i read the book: this story is amazing. yall better not fuck this up

  • Jennifer Aniston can you adopt me ? 😭😍

  • Bex 😍

  • This was a fantastic movie without being clichéd. Was honestly surprised. all the actors were top notch and will make you feel good for weeks to come!

  • Amazing amazing movie! Seriously. People tend to overhype Netflix movies but this one deserves all the praise. Absolutely stunning, heartwarming, and funny.

  • Netflix, no me aparece la película

  • I still prefer fat shaming.

  • Wait. Netflix, did you just summarized the whole movie in this trailer?

  • Another movie where a bigger girl is trying to prove something to society. And of course, Dove Cameron is in the movie playing the hot blonde. Can Hollywood stop type casting her like seriously.

  • This is such a good movie. I love that I dont really know the time period either lol. I just love it

  • Song?

  • It’s nothing like the book sadly.

  • For those that have seen it.. does anyone know what the musical number is they used for the group dance in the pageant scene??

    • Jolene but as an instrumental wasn't it?

  • This makes me say HELL YEA lmao

  • Dumplin is like Honey boo boo!

  • This movie is everything that Sierra Burgess is a Loser wasn’t! (Plus Dolly songs🤩)

  • I hate feel good movies 🙄

  • why is this not available in my country? is it released only in select countries?

  • Just click 1:23 repeatedly. Everything will be okay.

  • This movie is such a beautiful movie

  • I'VE READ THE BOOK ADHJSHDJD

  • Why is this not in Latinoamerican Netflix?

  • chorei

  • chorei

  • as much as i love jennifer aniston ....this movie was soo bad .....

    • I disagree. I thought it was an amazing movie.

  • 13/10

  • I watched this last night with my mom and sister

  • Noah Centineo WHO LOL

  • This movie was cute tbh but eh

  • Odeya Rush is so pretty skdksjs how

  • GINGER MINJ

  • This might as well be a fairytale because beauty pageants are serious business and no effing way would they ever let an overweight girl come within a hundred yards. I saw the movie. It's garbage but I guess the message behind it is positive. don't kid yourselves sweetie.... people in the south where beauty pageants are religion, wouldn't let 2 fat girls WATCH their show let alone enter it! You gotta be a certain weight to enter. Mean as hell stage mom's make that thing their living. Forcing little girls into skimpy bikinis and hooker heels and parading them around onstage like a prized pony. That terrorizes young women for life. Now imagine what they would do to a chunky chick???

  • Wow....another rachel green movie...can she ever play anything but the same character.... id like to see her play an actual challenge like an older woman or something OTHER than TYPICAL RACHEL GREEN IM SO HOT role. Look at nicole kidman...she is beautiful but isnt afraid to play DIFFERENT characters. Jennifer anistan is sooooo predictable! Boring boring actress!! DO SOMETHING DIFFERENT FOR CHRIST SAKES!!!

    • Lmao clearly you haven't watched the movie if you think the character was anything like Rachel Green.

    • Jen has been the most successful out of the cast of Friends but I can't deny that she's been in tons of mediocre movies especially mediocre rom coms. The only character which she played which was different from Rachel Green would be in Horrible Bosses. That nympho character she played in Horrible Bosses doesn't even feel or look nothing like her. Lol

  • I loved this movie 💖 I cried so much happy tears 😍 😭 Not an astounding movie that people might hope for but it sure is heartwarming and wholesome!! 💖

  • Here is an idea: consume about the same number of calories as you burn. Just a thought.

  • Id still like to watch it like this movie - de-tv.net/tv/video-FqJ-hfOb9Cc.html

  • She’s the typical jealous fatty with a pretty best friend

  • Lmafoooo she felt weird when he felt up on her back fat!!!! 😂

  • Plus her attitude is OBNOXIOUS

  • If he wants her that’s so dumb the movie is trying toooooo hard!! He probably says he wants to be friends lol she needs a 4 that guys like a 8.5 she’s a 3 lol 😂

  • I just started this but does the fatty get the guy??? She doesn’t right cuz obviously he doesn’t want her! Right!?!? Lol 😂

  • Sorry but the movie missed the mark on so many levels. Needed to flesh out the romance with Bo a lot more. And if you're gonna bang on SO much about Dollly Parton, she neeeeeeded to show up....but no. 😒

  • FINALLY I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR THE MOVIE SINCE I READ THE BOOK BACK IN 2015

  • GREAT MOVIE with GREAT MUSIC! I've watched it 3 times!

  • Great movie! Loved it!!

  • This movie was amazing! I cried and laughed. Great message just beautiful ❤️❤️

  • I kept looking for Dolly, but she wasn't actually in the movie!
